The nearest SCG water to me is Loch Libo, could anyone give me some information on this place? Whats the average size of carp pulled out of here and are there plenty of carp stocked in here? Also any good spots or baits? :)
Might buy my permit soon and fish libo, also do carp take boilies on Libo?
Thanks, Shane :)

I fish it regular very tough water only had 1carp in last 3 years yes they take boilies where do you live as there are other places non scg which might be better for you. If you get your ticket Im sure that me or other members would watch out for you if we knew you were going to be on the loch.

well i live in ayr :)
springwater and eglinton are the only waters i know that contain carp but in eggy they are heavily outnumbered. Owell guess i got a better chance at libo than i do eggy for big carp?

To be honest, im not sure if anyone will agree, you have a better chance at Loch Libo but Eglinton carp are much bigger if their are still any left !

be very careful at libo about crossing the railway read and obey all the signs ,
there have been anglers in the past who haven't they ended up being charged with trespassing on railway property by the rail police if unsure ask some of the regulars who fish libo have a look on the libo forum you will see who they are
good luck.
