been there,fished it, wont be back.... i believe it may have changed hands, so could be different story now... but me and al fish for the barbel on the ribble (preston/clitheroe area) and we used to drop in to carp waters if the rivers were unfishable, arrived at pendle view , met at the gate by the operator .... swim 10 free at 10.45 swim 2 at 11.30 and so on , busy little water , canteen and toilets on site.. done a night was enough... it has some decent fish but not for me..... better waters on the wyreside complex. but have a look could be different and not far from wyreside

Yup what Malky said. Been once and wouldn't go back, not worth the drive. Same goes for selby 3-lakes although I did manage a nice common from there and a koi I won't be back.

Had butthead last nite @ 47lb 6oz new lake and lancashire record.

Well worth the drive

Before everyone goes on about not a uk fish was stocked 20 years ago at 17lb so in my eyes not valid point about origin

yea won monthly prize for carp talk aswell 3 sirens plus reciever.

working in manchester for the next two weks so will be spending my nights on the lake again.
