Yes, Carl hudson had the last fish "reported" some time last year, a nice common. I'm sure it will get more attention when the stockies grow on ! but there are some nice fish in there for those who care to look Cheers saul

Hi Adi
It's not everyones cup of tea but but if you are prepared to travel light it's a cracking water to fish once you are there.
Cheers Saul

Hi Adi
I did see a couple of what looked like good doubles basking in the sun a few years ago but it was hard to be sure due to the weed they were sitting in but the two large backs out of the water made them easy to spot.
It's a bit of a mystery the size of the fish in there which is the best thing about it as they have been neglected for so long.
Cheers Saul

Hi, I have fished this place a few times. Go light and do a two/three hour session. As Saul said I have had a very nice common out (off the top). This was about 8lb, but was swimming with a much larger fish, just the greedy little swine got to the bait first. I really like the water and if others cannot be bothered to walk there, that's ok with me . Seriously, it is a rewarding water, needs work as there are only a couple of places you can fish. It does get very weedy in summer but so does the main loch. Cheers Carl

Hi All If anyone has any news on Craigton Pond I would love to know, especially to find out how the stockies are getting on ?? It would be great if anyone has any catch reports they can post on here but if you want to keep it quiet send me a PM on here or an email: saulgardiner@gmail.com Getting an idea of the growth rates is important for any future development of the water and any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers Saul
