cheers guys,no idea saul ive had a couple of runs on danskine before but didnt land any fish,and ive just put it down to sheer bad luck to be honest that i havent had a fish off it yet,had to change at some point :D

have changed rigs many times on danskine and tried pretty much allsorts :D ,to the point i think i was trying too hard and complicating things,now i know the rig im using works confidence should get me more fish i hope lol :D

Fished it yesterday for first time .. Lost one at lunchtime but nothing else all day for me or dave...
Must say lovely place . Water level very low. Spoke to owner he said he uses water for his potatoes...
He also said if I catch one cab he have it for his wife to cook.
What a dilemma if we had one while he was there... Anyway will give it ago again in a few years when they get a bit bigger

I'm telling you Saul you want to watch them carp
As hamish Wants one ... He drives a silver range rover ..
And the level is down as he waters his potatoes with it...
He also told me there used to be loads of wild carp but they used to hold competitions on it and infected keep nets what killed alot of them as the nets had a bacteria on them.
Anyway could not catch one so hope he never went hungry last night
