Just got my SCG membership through the door so I took a walk round Binny reserviour today and was thinking of fishing it at the weekend.
I would like to try and bivvy up round the far bank but it seems a task and a half so maybe stick to the other side haha :)
Anybody got any advice on fishing binny, not looking for any sectrets just a point in the right direction on baits etc.
Are they taking boilies yet or better sticking to more natural baits?
Also where do I park?
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Park at the gate at the top of the hill which is the 2nd gate on the right along from the farm heading towards binny with the tree line running down the field to your left as you look towards the water..
There is no tips for binny haha you just have to try your luck with what ever bait you have and see how it goes.
I have been up around half a dozen times now and not had a sniff yet so patience is definitely the key.

Use a good quality bait in small amounts, to big a bed of bait and guarenteed the fish will avoid it, 6 out in past 3 visits and only know of 3 others being out. The gate you want is the 3rd gate along in the 2nd field past farm just as the road rises, you should be lookin straight down the field to the dam end.If you do bivvy up on the far bank mind theres only 3 suitable swims the now,the corner of the dam ,the new swim and the gully, the hole at the top end won,t be finished for bit yet still a ton of rock to take out before it can be graded and turfed. Hope to be up the morro [sat] for a nite may see you there. Baldy
