Hi Guys, been going down to the Loch the past few days to walk the dogs and try and spot a few fish!
After speaking to the locals who were out and about they mentioned that certain persons not from the Uk had been fishing and taking fish for the pot!
Also all the freak hot weather has brought out people who have obviously been picnicking and cooking on the bank and have left loads of rubbish and burn't out fires....one was still smoldering this morning!!!
Just though i would mention it to see if anything could be done as regards both issues,as the water is a lovely place for all to enjoy and i would hate to see it spoilt!....especially as i haven't even wet a line yet!

I know about speak you, in spain we have same problem, we calls "fishkillers" normally is romanian people , also these people not respect the rules and fishing technics and if you tell them not to do that you risk having violent clashes .And not to mention the garbage left. Are a plague.

kinghorn will always be the same until its fenced off and policed, ive been sickened with the amount of burnt grass, rubbish left laying about ive not been in a month or two due to it, its not only foreigners stealing fish thats the problem alot of the locals and carp anglers dont give a censored and leave the place in a state, its sad to see the gradual decline of the area around the loch and i dont think it will be long before the ecology centre starts giving it more hassle about the state of the place.

The East bank has always been the same, campers etc etc just coming down to get pissed and light fires, fishing is a bit of an after thought! always a load of crazy campers during the Glasgow trades!.
To be honest it's been worse in the past. Most of the time it's nice and quiet.

If everyone does their bit by helping to keep the place tidy it sould be ok.

Cheers
Saul

Down there this morning after being on my holidays for a couple of weeks.....rubbish on the East bank as usual, the odd old camp fire and a dead bird or two!!!!.......the lake is looking good though and saw a couple top out the short time i was there.....just a shame my dogs scared them off by having a dip!!!
Loads of crap from overnighters a few weeks ago, using deadbaits as they left them on the bank....and only seen one Carper there in the last couple of months or so......and his swim was more tidy than my kids bedrooms!!!!!!
