I am planning a trip to lanark maybe in the next week or two, never fished this water, i will be getting the train as the line from glasgow to lanark runs through my local station :D I was just wondering if anyone has any info on decent swims/methods that will make a £10 1 hour ad 40 mins train journey worth it :p I was Thinking of travelling light and having a stalking approach, one rod, bait bucket, sit on the unhooking mat you know the deal....anyone got any other suggestions??

Also how much for a day ticket or do i need to be a member to fish?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Cheers

Chris!
