Caught my first carp of the year and also my first Scottish carp! Absolutely delighted to finally be off the mark!! Caught at eliburn today

Nice 1 bud. It took me a while too and funnily enough it was eliburn that I got my first Scottish carp and the exact same peg! Now they will came thick and fast.

Thanks guys! means a lot to finally have paid off after what seems a lot of work but all worth it now! Started doubting my fishing but I guess that's only natural after so long on a blank lol  Such a good feeling, cracking little carp and it put up a good fight! I hope you are right shaw.... just need to keep my pessimistic side away from my optimistic side haha

hopefully this year will be my year baldy! got a few different things to try and perfect so really hoping binny will produce a nice carp for me....
looking forward to having a good crack at it this year mate! need to sort out a meet up or a session with you and rab!
