hi all,cheers paul,couldnt agree with you more.but u cant control who has acess to p,c's :shock:

a few points;

1.first of all hamlet who are you :?: and what is your story :?: everybody on here introduces themselves before adding to our posts :shock: .
2.what i said may have sounded contradictive but any carper will know there is more to know about a water than just the stock details and a few depths :!:
3.this is scotland not (secret squirell)south of england.i posted about a water that is empty almost all the time.and if i thought it would affect my fishing then beleive me whoever you are i wouldnt have bothered,but truth is i know it will still be relatively unfished and i will get what i want from it.being on its doorstep has many advantages :!: :!:

would just like to wish the guys who pm'd me the best of luck,and i'm glad you appreciated the info.
nico :wink:

Couple of good points Nico

In reality most of our carp waters here in Scotland are quiet most of the time, especially the bigger more challenging waters and a few more people fishing these waters might just improve things with regard to bait going in etc etc which might improve results.

The other thing you mention about introductions etc is a very valid point as we do encourage new members to the forum to say hello etc and let us know who you really are, this helps to stop people coming on the forum and causing trouble and hiding behind some alias ( thats a general comment and not aimed directly at Hamlet )
New members should post here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=109
If you want to be taken seriously !!

Cheers
saul

Have fished there quite a lot. havent actually seen any carp coming out but seen a couple of pics. One bout 8lb and the other quite a bit bigger. not sure what kind as i havnt caught any carp yet. Ive had piles of roach and a couple of pearch but there are some cracking pike lurking in Broadwood.

Hope to get some carp this summer.
