I'm pretty sure it's safe mate. I used to use something similar from a pet shop as a spod mix basis. Pets at home do something similar. it's niger seed, sunflower seeds, hemp, groats stuff like that.

you can contact the company through ebay and put any questions you have to them, that way you can make your mind up.

I got interrupted @ work when doing last post. I remember there wasn't that much hemp so I always used to prepare at least a couple of pints and add to the feed. I think the hemp must be that bit more expensive.

I used to prepare the feed by soaking in cold water for 24 hours and then boiling hard for about 30 mins. It soaks up a lot and stinks a bit when boiling. it swells a fair bit too. I thought it was worth it though for something different. When cold I used to mix the hemp in.

another good seed is trapping 66 used for pigeons smells of aniseed around 12.5 kilo for £8.99
