Hello everyone, my name is Paul, I'm a Geordie that works down the south of England but live in Glasgow. Fanatical about all types of fishing and fish many lakes down in the Wiltshire/Bristol area. I joined the SCG Forum to meet new fisherman and hopefully make some new friends, long story short is, I'm leaving my current job (HM Forces) after 27 years in the next few months and will be living full time in Glasgow so apart from looking for a job, I still want to continue my fishing

Sorry to hear you had 27 years of rattling around in armour...I am ex many things...Royal Green Jackets, Gordon Highlanders, The Highlanders and now Royal Regiment of Scotland, despite a London accent!! A bit too old for it all, but it supplies me with rucksacks and waterproofs for fishing

Closest I got to heavy armour was learning to drive FV 432's in Fallingbostal, Germany.

I am stuck in the frozen wastelands of Aberdeenshire, but I have some cracking Brown Trout fishing on my doorstep
