Hi all

I've not fished in a good few years, I'm from Dorset originally and fished many waters for most species of fish in the area along with Devon and Somerset, since moving to Peterhead I have only sea fished, I would love to get back into coarse fishing again and would be glad of any advise, I have been to Aboyne Loch Lomond and Glen Rothes however would love to here of other places to try, no distance to far and I don't mind night fishing, have fished for Carp, Tench, Perch, Roach, Bream, Eel and Pike, have a preference for Carp and Tench though.

Will

That's about right, i'm in Aberdeen and the nearest SGC water is Kinghorn at 99 miles, but last year I only fished Lanark Loch, that's 156 miles. Lanark has carp and tench.

Many thanks Derek, my plan on joining was to try Kinghorn, first, however I am open to suggestions for the new year.

Glad to here that Aboyne on the up as I have nothing but bad luck the 4 times I've fished based on your recommendation I will try again, yes I am in the arm pit of the universe when it comes to coarse fishing however I can work round it and travel any where :D , I used to fish Pitflor and had some FAB Tench however you don't seem to be able to fish now the trout syndicate is back on it

You had Tench from Pitfour? I am impressed indeed! I managed small carp and rudd.

The syndicate seems to be rather unpopular and there has been a bif explosion of argullus lice.
