hi chaps I want to know how many of us would be interested in a comp being run in july this year over two days on Lanark open to all members. I am looking for interested parties to for taking part and for helping out with weigh ins and general marshall work.

this would be a team comp of two man teams over 48hrs. I see its been mentioned before but no one has taken time to set it up. If there is enough genuine interest in it I will set it up.

hi mate it would be a draw for swims , And pick your own partner the draw for swims would be made on the first morning of the match that way theres no prebaiting

Each team would pay £20 per team the proceeds would be divided up half going to the scg for funds for the group and the other half to the winners. We could sort out a small trophy for the winners and there is the bragging rights of course lol.

rules are to be confirmed at a later date

all it needs is someone to sort it out . The problem before is people were thinking the committee were going to set it up and run it. But I will set it up so anyone who's willing to help out with setting up and being a marshal over the two days make your self known.

also anyone who's done this before ie setting up running or weigh ins feel free to give advice or lend a hand. The only way it will happen is if we do it .

Still to be decided mate if it gets enough interest. I would like to get ten teams for it or if people like run it as single person match.

The each angler would get an ariel map of the lake showing were your allowed to cast. This also to make sure we maximise the amount space on the water. If you come out first in the Draw you can pick the best swim or your favourite swim.

In the event of two anglers having the same weight it would be decided on most fish. Again these are just ideas until we get enough people to take part and to help bailiff It's not going to happen
