Going for an overnighter with my mate tomorow.will post pics if we catch any.

good luck mate,maybe an idea to bring your rods in at night before you hit the sack and put some chopped up freebies out on a spot before you go to bed and hit it in the morning when you get up,therefore resting the swim without lines in the water,works for carp (sometimes),you could lend up with the pike feeding confidently and catch them off guard.fish welfare first,sometimes less is more .tightlines.johnnie

cheers mate, probobly better for me to do that lol will try putting some chopped up mackeral in the swim where one rod would be and cast there in the morning
