I live about 15 mins outside Glasgow and wondering if anyone knows any decent pike waters near-ish? Castle Semple and Barr Loch are my local waters but they're not really worth fishing these days and looking for somewhere with a chance of decent fish without the neds/litter etc. Any info appreciated.

Try the Barrhead dams, fishing is free and it`s usually ned free during the winter, too cold for them. There are 5 waters to fish with lot`s of jacks and some decent doubles too.Not alot of parking space on the Aurs rd however you can park at the Ashoka Darnley if your prepared to walk the mile and a bit up Corselet rd to the dams.
