Evening all,
Just looking for some info on a couple of venues local to me. These venues being Bookers Pit in Irvine and Gooseloan Pond in Kilwinning.
BOOKERS PIT
Have been there once before and caught a nice wee roach. Heard that there is also some nice pike in there as well. There are only bits and bobs on the t'interweb about it, not a great deal of info.
GOOSELOAN POND
Heard of it only through searches on Google. Don't know where in Kilwinning it is. Have asked a couple of local fishermen and they don't seem to really want to part with any information.
Basically i'm looking for what species there are in these places and also what methods of fishing are best to use. Also whether these places are free tickets or if there is a permit price to pay.
Any help really would be appreciated as started to get fed up with Eggy now due to sizes of fish caught and the amount of rubbish that seems to be swamping the place.
Cheers.

Alex Don't know anything about brookers except some Rudd from Fintry were stocked in it in the 90s. High Gooseloan Pond is private Carp syndicate of which I am a member. No visitor permits are issued I'm afraid.
